Birds and Beer: Chimney Swift with the Ornithological Society

April 25 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Chimney Swifts are returning from their winter in the Amazon! Here’s a chance to observe their mysterious roosting behavior at dusk during migration– massing together to dive into a chimney for an overnight stay! Birders from CTOS (the Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society) will answer all your Chimney Swift questions as we gather to observe this amazing phenomenon. All ages are welcome. NOTE: Canceled in the event of rain.

TWO WAYS TO WATCH:
7:15 Birds and Beer at Urban Stack
Meet to eat/drink/socialize/learn about swifts for an hour before the swifts begin to gather. In order to register, click ‘Event Info” above.
