Booker T. Washington State Park is proud to now offer an all-terrain wheelchair—helping visitors with mobility challenges have more access to trails and serene spots to enjoy free of charge.

The chairs are available for both children and adults and can be operated independently or with the option of allowing caretaker control. Learn how to request the chair at Booker T. Washington and more information about our other state parks with specialized wheelchairs: tnstateparks.com/about/accessibility

A special thanks to the Ford Bronco Wild Fund, National Association of State Park Directors and the Tennessee State Parks Conservancy. Their contributions have been pivotal in securing our new chair at Booker T. Washington—a significant stride to helping ensure outdoor recreation is accessible to all our visitors.
