Five Points Recreation Area
Located a half an hour south of downtown Chattanooga, the Five Point Recreation Area is a network of multi-use and singletrack hiking/mountain biking trails on the scenic plateau of Lookout Mountain.
Part of the Cloudland Canyon Connector Trail, which will link Cloudland Canyon State Park near Trenton, Georgia to the Lula Lake Land Trust in Lookout Mtn., Georgia, Five Points offers 20 miles of interconnected trails.
The trails feature long, steep climbs and rolling downhills through the mountain gorges and former mining areas surrounding Lula Lake.
The Longbranch and Five Points sections of the Cloudland Canyon Connector are now complete, with the last section currently under construction.
Developed and backcountry camping is available nearby at Cloudland Canyon State Park. Reservations are recommended.
