Enterprise South Nature Park
Hamilton County's 1,300 acre wildlife park is located off of Volkswagen Drive and I-75 in Northeast Chattanooga, adjacent to the Volkswagen of Chattanooga manufacturing plant. The former Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant site is known for a vast recreational trail network that winds among dozens of sealed ammunition storage bunkers.
Enterprise South's 25 miles of paved and unpaved trails are open for day hiking, mountain biking and ADA accessible recreation. Picnic areas, historical exhibits, a visitors center and a 7 mile driving loop complete the park. More trails are currently under development.
The nature park's singletrack mountain bike trails range in difficulty from beginner to intermediate with built boardwalks and other technical features.
