Camping. Camping has been a favorite activity among outdoor enthusiasts for over a century. There are few experiences more enjoyable than waking up to fresh mountain air, listening to birds chirping, and reveling in peace and quiet when camping. Camping encompasses a multitude of different experiences for the dedicated camper - primitive tent camping, camping at campgrounds with some amenities, and cabins with luxurious ambience.

Chattanooga offers several camping opportunities through state and local parks, as well as with private campgrounds.

For listings of private campgrounds, visit the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau.
