Sumac Creek Trail

Figure-8 loop trails. Steep mountain climbs and downhills, easy double track, stream crossings, and spectacular scenery. Two loops: inner loop 7.5 miles; outer loop, 10.7 miles.

Map(s) and directions:
From I-75norht, take Hwy 64 to Hwy 411. Turn right on Hwy 411. Go to Hwy 2 (stone Cisco Baptist Church on left) and turn left. Go approximately 3.2 miles to the Game Checking Station. Turn right onto FW 17 and go about 2 miles to the trailhead parking area on the right. Note: this is a narrow, sometimes steep, winding dirt road. Proceed slowly and carefully.
