This is a great alternative if you have anyone under 12 yrs. old or if you just aren't quite up to the challenge of the Class III & IV rapids of the Ocoee! The scenery is breathtaking and the water is so clear you can see the trout swim by!

The Hiwassee River is designated a state scenic river. It is located in the Cherokee National Forest and is perfect for beginners and families.
