Recreational paddling - this is a beautiful, technical run through primarily undeveloped land, but doesn't hold much water long so pretty much only able to be paddled following a decent rain or rainy stretch. The take-out at the Hwy 53 Bridge is one you don't want to miss unless you plan to paddle the Lower Amicalola as well, for the rapid just below the bridge is Edge-of-the-World. There are 3 put-ins that can be used, offering a variety of run lengths.
