


South Chickamauga Creek Greenway
South Chickamauga Creek is located between Shallowford Road and Camp Jordan Park; many Chattanoogans use the greenway path for leisure purposes such as walking, running, and biking. Walking the 2.5 mile trail which includes the Brainerd Levee is a popular pastime for Chattanooga residents of all ages.
The Brainerd Levee portion of this greenway is a 3.5 mile trail (one way).
Walking, Running, & Road Biking are all great uses of this greenway.

From Chattanooga, take I-24E to I-75S to exit 1 (US-41S). Turn left onto Ringgold Rd., left onto Thomas Street, left onto Fred Pruett Parkway - this becomes Camp Jordan Parkway - follow into Camp Jordan.

SPECIAL FEATURES
A new bridge is in South Chickamauga Creek, a key part of the new 5.5 mile connector phase of the Tennessee Riverpark. Additionally, a new 7 mile section will link the end of the Brainerd Levee at Shallowford Road to the Tennessee Riverpark via a 7 mile stretch along S. Chickamauga Creek.
