Rock/Creek Kayak Adventures - 2010



Reservations Required



So you tried kayaking and liked it.
Now, join one of our longer excursions on area lakes and rivers. Rock/Creek will bring expertise and the newest toys to tempt your inner gear head.
All trips are appropriate for adults and kids ages 14 and older when accompanied by an adult.
Some kayaking experience is required.

Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge - REGISTRATION CLOSED!!
Sunday, June 27
9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $50
Limit: 12 participants

In June, the waters of the Hiwassee Widlife Refuge explode with Water Hyacinth blooms and teem with wildlife. Bring your camera and binoculars. 
Cost includes all gear, guides and transportation.

We will stop on Hiwassee Island for a complimentary lunch, courtesy of Rock/Creek.

S. Chickamauga Creek and Downtown Chattanooga
Thursday, July 8
5:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Cost: $35
Limit: 12 participants

We'll launch at the old Sterchi Farm on S. Chickamauga Creek, meander onto the Tennessee River then and paddle downstream to Coolidge Park to take in the sunset and city lights.
Cost includes all gear (including fishing gear), guides, snacks, and transportation.

Dale Hollow Overnighter

Cost: $150
Limit: 12 participants
 
Dale Hollow Lake, near the Kentucky border, holds some of the cleanest, clearest water in the state. Spend the weekend camping and kayaking on this beautiful treasure.
Cost includes all kayaking and camping gear, meals, snacks, drinks and transportataion.

Williams Island Tour
Sunday, September 19
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $35
Ages: Adults and Kids ages 14 and older when accompanied by an adult
Limit: 12 participants

Williams Island holds a TN River Blueway Campsite, prehistoric archaeological features, and a 20-acre organic farm. We'll paddle around the island and do a little exploring on foot.
Cost includes gear, guides, snacks, water, and transportation.
