


Walnut Street Bridge Climbing Wall
Established on a 100 year old limestone tower supporting the Walnut Street Bridge, The Walnut Wall is a cooperative partnership between the Chattanooga City Parks and Recreation Department and The Adventure Guild.
Opened in 1993, the Wall serves as an anchor point in North Chattanooga's Coolidge Park (directly across the Tennessee River from Ross' Landing).
The 50-foot Walnut Wall is open seasonally to the general public and for groups on a reservation basis.It is geard for both novice and experienced climbers. It has 10 top ropes leading to as many as 30 distinct climbing routes ranging in difficulty from 5.3 to 5.11. All equipment is provided! Simply show up during the hours of operation and climb!

• Saturdays 1:00 - 9:00 PM
• Sundays 1:00 - 7:00 PM
The price for open climbing is $5 per-hour-per-person (with a three-climb minimum during busy times), or $15 for the entire day. The day pass includes re-entry privileges, so you can climb for awhile, stroll around the park, and then return to climb again later the same day!
