Dam to Dam Paddle

50 Miles in 2 Days on the Tennessee River Blueway

Outdoor Chattanooga's first annual extreme river adventure will challenge kayakers and canoeists to paddle the Tennessee River Blueway from Chickamauga Dam to Nickajack Dam.

Saturday morning, put in at Greenway Farm on N.Chickamauga Creek and paddle 27 miles to the Pot Pot campsite. Outdoor Chattanooga will provide a hot pasta dinner and Sunday morning breakfast at the Tennessee River Gorge Trust's Pot Point Cabin.  

      

Sunday, paddle 23 miles to the Tennessee Valley Authority's Shellmound Recreation Area on Nickajack Lake.

Cost: $75   
Outdoor Chattanooga will provide gear shuttle to and from the Pot Point campsite, and a shuttle back to the put-in.

Everyone must be able to complete each day's paddle by 4 p.m.

Each leg will have an early bailout option for paddlers who don't want to complete the entire course.
