Booker T. Washington State Park Trail
Situated on the shores of scenic Chickamauga Lake not far from the city of Chattanooga is 353-acre Booker T. Washington State Park. To get to the trailhead simply go straight past the ranger and look for and follow the signs point to the mountain bike trail.
The newly-completed 5.56-mile singletrack trail is a gnarly, twisty, rooty, challenging ride for intermediate level mountain bikers. Cyclists attempting the trail should have the skills to safely negotiate steep climbs, roots, and rocks.
