Edward's Point
A combination of single track, double track and rutted jeep road (with mud holes) makes Edwards Point a challenging ride for intermediate level mountain bikers.
This wild ride is located in the Prentice Cooper State Forest on Signal Mountain (Walden's Ridge). This is a multi-use trail. Please respect the rights of other trail users and follow IMBA's rules of the trail. Always yield the trail to other users.

Map(s) and directions:
From Chattanooga, take U.S. 27 north, then exit at Signal Mountain (U.S. 127) and continue northwest to the top of Signal Mtn. Take a sharp left turn at the top of the mountain at the first traffic light. Follow this road until you come to a 5-way intersection near a golf course. Turn left on Timberlinks. Continue on Timberlinks over a new bridge. At the top of the hill past the new bridge look for some power lines. The main trail head is on the left just before the power lines. Park on the side of the road here. Or continue a little farther. The main road (now Shackleford Ridge) curves to the right and the road to the left is Edward's Point Rd. Turn left here and look for an old jeep road on the left. This leads to Edwards Point.
