Chester Frost County Park
Chester Frost County Park contains a power boat launch, boat docks and ramps, a swimming beach, fishing piers, group picnic facilities, an indoor pavilion and a developed campground for RV, tent and group camping on the shores of Chickamauga Lake. Operated by Hamilton County, the facility hosts fishing tournaments, competitive events and the annual Hamilton County Fair.

There are 188 RV campsites with water and electrical hookups and a limited number that can accommodate RV's up to 65ft.  There is one centralized dumping station and several bathouses.  There are only 82 sites available during the winter months and tent camping is also availble.

No reservations are taken...space is available on first-come, first-served basis.

Distance from Downtown Chattanooga:  45 minutes and 15 miles

Map(s) and directions:  From Chattanooga take exit 4 off I-75 which is State Route 153.  Travel north on 153 to Hixson Pike (north).  Stay on Hixson Pike for approxiamently 8 miles to N. Gold Point Circle take a left this will bring you right into the park. Google Map
