


Coker Creek Falls
Coker Creek Falls Trail covers 3.2 miles along Coker Creek and numerous small falls. This is an easy to moderate hiking/backpacking trail. The trail begins at F.S. Road 2138 off of Highway 68.This trail connects to the John Muir Trail down to the beautiful Hiwassee River.
This area is perfect for the hottest summer days. The forest provides a nice canopy along the trail and the water is always cold. This area is magnificent for blooming flora in the spring also.

From Chattanooga
From I75North, take US64 east thru the Ocoee River Gorge to Ducktown. At Ducktown take TN68 north toward Tellico Plains. You will cross the Hiwassee River on SR68 and cross into Monroe County. Just past a bridge over Coker Creek (unmarked), turn left onto Bailey Road (unmarked). This road takes you steeply uphill to FS22 (Ducket Ridge Road) where you will turn left. Shortly thereafter the pavement ends. In about 3 miles you will see a sign on the left for Coker Creek Falls. FS2138 turns left and goes steeply downhill for one mile to trailhead parking lot. This trail is approximately 2 hours from Chattanooga.
